Fromie showcases the suppliers in Frome by working in a truly collaborative manner, curating exclusive gift boxes that champion the locals and the gorgeous items they produce.

I worked closely with founder and owner Nicky to create this beautiful, branded gift box. Nicky wanted the box to be attractive enough that the receiver of the gift would want to keep it and reuse. Also, It had to be right to support the lovely gifts inside and have a wow factor on opening.

Instead of a rigid box, we settled on this interesting flat, lotus type design which folds up and locks shut over the handles without needing any other fixings. The ‘Wow’ was provided by a vivid, contemporary pattern on the inside (part of Fromie’s existing brand) and also made the boxes reversable which was handy for promotions and decoration around the shop.
